Celebrity Ascent has officially been launched as part of Celebrity Cruises’ fleet in preparation for its maiden voyage in Fort Lauderdale on December 3.
Key leaders from Royal Caribbean Group, Chantiers de l’Atlantique and Celebrity Cruises, attended the delivery ceremony.
Celebrity Ascent is home to a private resort, The Retreat. It includes an expanded rooftop garden and resort deck, a multi-level sunset bar, onboard entertainment, a new outdoor dining terrace, Blu, and a redesigned dining concept, Le Voyage by Chef Daniel Boulud.
The ship also offers guests the opportunity to take part in glass-blowing classes, indulge in retail therapy at a shopping centre, or place their bets at a casino. They can also enjoy a camping-at-sea experience, a theatre, silent discos, archery, pickleball, mixology courses, and food and wine pairings.
