The Travel in Golf Club (TIGC) Golf Day marked a triumphant start to the year with a highly successful Travelex-sponsored event at the prestigious Houghton Golf Club on February 27.
With a turnout of 115 golfers, the day started with drizzle and high hopes that the inclement weather would abate. Thankfully, the sun outshone the clouds shortly after the first tee-offs, allowing golfers to enjoy the course to its fullest.
Sustenance was provided on the Travelex-sponsored holes in the form of delectable eats and beverages, with shooters to keep players’ spirits up.
A dinner of rare roast beef, line fish, and delicious vegetables rounded off a great day of golf and networking, with fantastic prizes for all the winners.
Participants can look forward to the next TIGC Golf Day, which will be held on April 18 at the Country Club Johannesburg – Woodmead.
