two new properties
to its Mauritius collection,
effective November 1.
The newly refurbished
four-star-plus Preskil Island
Resort has reopened as a
family hotel with a range
of two-bedroom units that
can accommodate two
adults and three children.
The Solana Beach Hotel
expands World Leisure’s
existing adults-only portfolio.
The portfolio expansion is
driven by growing demand
for island holidays, says
marketing assistant at World
Leisure Holidays, Marlin
Magadani. “We carefully
selected properties that
agents frequently requested
and that were well-suited
to the World Leisure brand
and to our standards of
accommodation.”
Preskil Island features
214 rooms, ranging from
superior rooms to junior
suites. It features three
restaurants, two bars, a spa,
conference room, fitness
room, two pools, tennis
courts and a kids’ club. The
hotel also offers a range of
watersports activities, with
supplementary charges for
diving, kite surfing, bicycle
and scooter rentals.
Solana Beach is a fourstar resort on the east
coast of Mauritius. Its 117
rooms all offer sea views
and range from superior
rooms to junior suites.
All have either a private
balcony or a garden patio.
The hotel’s main restaurant
serves buffet-style meals.
It features two bars and
a Japanese-style sushi
restaurant. The hotel also
has a bar, spa and sauna,
and an in-house hairdresser.
A range of complimentary
land and watersport
options are on offer. Diving,
parasailing, bicycle and
scooter rental incur a
surcharge.
