THE second SA Business Travel online event on May 30 saw a great quality of delegates enter events and interact with its 11 corporate travel supplier exhibitors. Online Expos business development manager, Natalie Cumberlege, said she could see a far more confident and focused approach from exhibitors as they took on the 2019 SA Business Travel online event, compared with last year’s 2018 SABT. Mandi Hattingh, key account manager of Legacy Hotels, said: “It has been great. I loved using this platform to interact with people and you could immediately email everyone exactly what they required.
Got a few new clients as well.” “This year we are dealing with a more experienced virtual exhibitor and our audience is also learning more about this online platform and so we see the right buyer making use of these online events,” said Natalie. She added: “We are pleased with the number of attendees recorded but even more so with quality of the delegate and buyer.” The event remains open and accessible to delegates for 30 days, and delegates are encouraged to make use of this extended access to SA Business Travel, especially those who were not able to log in on the day of the event.
Sandy Berovic, GSA outbound manager of Hertz said: “We found this to be a well-organised event and worth exhibiting at. It attracted the right target audience which showed great interest in our brands, services and value adds.” “From my side I feel that there was a better quality of delegates online. Still love the concept as it is so much more convenient for us and the delegates!” said Lizaan Schnettler groups and incentive manager of Cruises International. Bookings for the 2020 online SA Business Travel are now open. Those interested can contact Natalie at nataliec@nowmedia.co.za or on 011-214-7380.
