XL City of Choice Travel held its inaugural Travel Start-up Conference at aha Alpine Heath Resort in the Drakensberg earlier this month.

During a series of sessions, leaders and innovators shared their knowledge and experiences, covering key trends in travel, technology, sustainability and consumer behaviour, with an emphasis on practical solutions to overcome industry challenges.
Keynote speaker, Mala Pillay, a life coach, delivered a talk on the topic of employee wellness as a foundation for business success, urging leaders to prioritise mental and emotional wellbeing.
