The 16-deck MSC
Orchestra features
an impressive 1 275
interior, ocean-view and
balcony cabins, including
17 for guests with
disabilities. Ranging from
standard cabins that can
accommodate one to
two people, super-family
cabins (a combination of
two connected balcony
cabins that can sleep
up to five people) to
suites that also include
small lounge areas, all
the cabins have en-suite
bathrooms and are fitted
with interactive television,
telephone, safe and
minibar. Double or single
beds are available on
request.
The ship also features
two fine-dining restaurants
as well as a buffet
restaurant that is open
21 hours a day. Salmon,
rock lobster and black
truffle risotto are but a
few of the hundreds of
menu options available
to cruisers. Coffee and
tea are freely available.
Alcoholic beverages and
soft drinks are at an extra
charge.
Another boon is the host
of activities on board.
From fun and interactive
games and competitions
on the deck to stand-up
comedy shows, book
readings, trivia contests
and cooking classes,
wine-tasting, poolside fun
and glitzy extravaganzas,
there’s something for
everyone.
There are cocktail bars
and coffee shops, icecream parlours and dutyfree shops, a hair salon
and a spa.
“Our vessels are very
family-orientated,” says
Ross. The various kids’
clubs on board cater
for babies through to
teenagers
