Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier, Saudia, has revealed its new brand identity and livery.
The airline intends to transport 330 million visitors to the Kingdom by 2030.
The previous branding has been replaced with a green tail and engines, and a green, sand beige and blue stripe across the fuselage matching the Kingdom’s flag.
The rebrand also includes new uniforms for cabin crew and ground staff, and the launch of an AI virtual assistant which, Saudia says, will allow guests to complete entire transaction through an efficient process by the end of the year.
Additionally, Saudia has introduced a major change with a branded fares structure – it says this will offer its passengers more flexibility and alternative options in bundles that will suit their travel needs.
There are four economy branded fares ranging from ‘Saver’ (allows a personal item, a 7kg cabin bag, no checked bag, no seat selection, no mileage accrual, no fare changes, no refunds and no no-show fees) ranging up to ‘Flex’ ( allows a personal item, a 7kg cabin bag, two 23kg checked-in bags, free preferential seat selection, paid premium seat selection, 100% mileage accrual, free changes and refunds, and a no-show fee of R400 or 25% of the coupon value.
Business class also has four different branded fares providing various different benefits. First class has only one branded fare, Flex.
