Air Tanzania’s John Kahabi, station manager OR Tambo, and Christina Tungaraza, marketing
manager, are excited to announce the airline’s return to South Africa in June. Flights between
Johannesburg and Dar es Salaam will operate four times a week, serviced by a Boeing 787-8
Dreamliner. The airline took delivery of the aircraft last year and added two A220-300s to
its growing fleet between December and January. TC has been loaded on to GDSs with a 3%
commission for agents on all its routes. The airline is currently only accepting cash as payment
but is in the process of acquiring credit card agreements.
