Photocap: A first from First

First Car Rental has launched car-hire self-service depots

at major branches across the country, a service it claims

is the first in South Africa. The self-service touchscreens

were piloted at OR Tambo International Airport over

the past four months and are now ready to be rolled

out across market segments. Travellers complete an

initial rental profile at any of the participating branches,

and thereafter they can book online, go straight to a

self-service touchscreen, choose the vehicle they want

and sign for it on screen within 30 seconds. Pictured
