Tourism KwaZulu-Natal’s new website (https://www.zulu.org.za/) was launched this week and is packed with special packages such as reef diving, shark-cage snorkelling, go-karting in Mtubatuba, boat cruises at Richards Bay, Karkloof and Drakensberg canopy tours, and campfire stories with humanitarian, author and adventurer, Kingsley Holgate, to name a few.
After many months of hard work and dedication by the TKZN team, the new website had been launched with the tourism body’s fresh brand identity, said Phindile Makwakwa, acting ceo of Tourism KZN.
“We are continuously looking for opportunities to improve our customers’ interaction with our products and with this new website we hope to gain more visitors to build better and new relationships with TKZN and our trade partners,” she said.
“The website is a key marketing tool for any destination marketing organisation as it is the first point of interaction between the traveller and the destination. It is vital that our website is an all-round essential source of information giving travellers a sneak peek of the excitement that KZN has in store for them when they finally reach our shores.”
The website gives visitors the option to convert its content to the mother language of both international and local travellers. Visitors can also call, message or navigate to their interested holiday destination partners on the website.
It will continuously be fully loaded with amazing specials and deals from trade partners, giving travellers an everyday bargain on their next bucket-list holiday destination.
For a holistic view of KZN, the website now has the ability to use Google Maps URL to display a virtual street view of the destination, or a virtual 360-degree tour of an establishment.
