The Royal Portfolio is set to open a new luxury lodge, Waterside, on July 1.
The lodge is situated at Royal Malewane on the western border of the Greater Kruger National Park and will offer four one-bedroom luxury suites, a two-bedroom suite and a four-bedroom suite.
The suites will have private plunge pools situated on an expansive deck with views of the bushveld. The freestanding suites will be linked to the lodge’s reception and dining areas, a library and spa.
Activities include game drives, bush walks, wine tasting in the Waterside cellar, yoga and meditation.
The closest airport is Hoedspruit and there is a private landing strip, Jackalberry airstrip, at Royal Malewane.
