LATAM plans to bring forward
the launch of its daily flights
between São Paulo and
Johannesburg.
The service was initially
scheduled to start operating
in April 2019, but will now
commence in December,
subject to confirmation.
The airline currently operates
the service five times a week.
Guido Joaquin Blanco,
Latam commercial manager
UK, Africa and Nordic
Countries, shared this with
the travel trade at the recent
Latam roadshow held in
Sandton. He added that the
December flights should be
loaded on to the GDS within
the next few weeks.
Latam services over 120
destinations in Latin America.
Annemarie Lexow, sales
and marketing manager of
Travel Vision, says more
frequent flights will help
because there is demand
for Latin America, adding
that Peru is one of the most
popular destinations.
