KENYA Airways will
withdraw ights between
Nairobi and Eldoret with
effect from April 1.
The cancellation coincides
with the launch of ights by
JamboJet, a new low-cost
carrier and wholly owned
subsidiary of KQ. JamboJet
will operate domestic
ights between Nairobi and
Mombasa, Kisumu and
Eldoret.
KQ told TNW there were
no plans to cancel any other
domestic routes in the
near future. “KQ constantly
reviews its network and plans
accordingly. There are no
immediate plans to decrease
capacity to Mombasa and
Kisumu.”
The airline announced this
week that unused tickets
booked on its ights between
Nairobi and Eldoret would
qualify for a full refund without
penalt
