Airlink will add three weekly night flights to its JNB-NBO service from March 30 next year.
The extra flights improve choices for business and leisure travellers flying between the two cities and bolster Airlink’s daily service launched last year when it became the first private-sector airline to compete on the route.
“Kenya is an important market and the route provides a vital connection between the two major hubs, stimulating bilateral and inter-regional travel, trade and economic activity. Airlink’s competitive and convenient flights will promote tourism in both markets,” explained Airlink CEO and MD, Rodger Foster.
Airlink’s 98-seat Embraer E190 jetliners will operate the additional flights.
Flight 4Z 072, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, will depart JNB at 20h30 and arrive at NBO at 01h30, the following day. Return flight 4Z 073, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, will depart NBO at 02h15 and arrive at JNB at 05h25.
