Heathrow Airport has opened The Windsor by Heathrow following the transformation and revamp of its VIP suite.
The first phase of the refurbishment and rebrand features eight upgraded private lounges and a redesigned entrance lobby, providing a luxury experience to high-profile guests.
Access comes with a hefty price-tag, starting at £3 812 (R88 410) for up to three guests. Services include a private chauffeur from their home or hotel to the suite, and then to the aircraft, a private butler service and exclusive dishes from a Michelin-star chef.
The service is available 16 hours a day to accommodate global travellers. Key airlines The Windsor serves include Etihad, Qatar, British Airways, American Airlines and Emirates. However, travellers in First or Business Class can use The Windsor, regardless of their airline or terminal.

A private art gallery, showcasing pieces from renowned artists around the world such as Andy Warhol and Banksy, which can be purchased using a QR code.

VIP staff processing the guests’ luggage, passports and documents.

The Personal Shopper service in which staff members will take guests to the stores in Terminal 5 through the back corridors of the airport.
Heathrow’s VIP rebrand took eight months to complete and cost over £3m (R69m).
