FlyNamibia has revealed that it will triple its regional coverage from April with routes planned between Windhoek (WDH) and Luanda (LAD), Maun (MUB), and Victoria Falls (VFA).
FlyNamibia is 60% owned by Namibian aviation service provider Westair, with the remaining 40% stake held by Airlink, under which it also operates using the airline’s 4Z code.
While schedules have not been given for the new routes, Andre Compion, MD of FlyNamibia, has revealed in a podcast with Jon Howell, AviaDev CEO, that the airline will lease ERJ-135s and ERJ-145s through Westair from the now-shutdown Air Namibia fleet to support it in servicing its new routes.
