Eurowings will offer a new business-class product, BIZclass, on selected long-haul flights from April.
The existing classes – Basic, Smart, and Best – will not be affected.
BIZclass is still being fine-tuned but will include special catering, improved leg-room, and seats that convert into a 2m-long bed. At this stage it is not known whether the business-class product will be available on the Cologne to Cape Town route.
Eurowings cco, Oliver Wagner, says the airline has seen strong demand for a product like this, especially on routes with a higher proportion of business travellers.
