Ethiopian Airlines has resumed direct flights to Bengaluru, India, on March 27 after it halted operations for two years due to the pandemic.
The flights operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays using a Boeing 738 aircraft. ET690 departs Addis Ababa at 23h00 and arrives in Bengaluru at 07h10 next morning. Return flight ET691 departs Bengaluru at 02h30 and arrives in Addis Ababa at 05h50.
Mesfin Tasew the airline’s CEO, said the addition of Bengaluru to the network was vital to meet the demands of the fast-growing numbers of air travellers between India and Africa.
Ethiopian launched flights to Bengaluru in October 2019. Currently, the airline also operates passenger flights to Mumbai and Delhi.
