The first African Tourism Forum will be held at the Sharm El Sheik International Conference Centre in Sharm El Sheikh from May 20-21.
The forum will see over 2 000 travel industry professionals looking at potential opportunities in Africa and Egypt. The event will feature conferences, panels, B2B meetings and specialised courses.
Delegates include tourism agencies from Turkey, Germany, Poland, Romania, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Lebanon, Oman, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and other African countries.
“Launching the African Tourism Forum in Sharm El Sheikh aims to create added value for the tourism sector, professionals and investors,…paving the way for new perspectives and providing a platform for business and information exchange most effectively, much like the Antalya Tourism Fair in Turkey, which has been ongoing for five years,” said Selçuk Meral, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GMT, the organiser of the Forum.
