Disney Cruise Line has unveiled the largest ship in its fleet, Disney Adventure, scheduled to begin sailing in December 2025. The vessel will mark the company's first-ever cruise departing from Asia, setting sail from Singapore.
Disney Adventure is set to carry 6 700 passengers, which is approximately 44% larger than its second largest vessel, Disney Wish.
A major highlight of the new vessel is the adventure zone on the upper decks, featuring attractions inspired by the Marvel Universe. Guests can enjoy the ‘Ironcycle Test Run’, the longest rollercoaster at sea, alongside two other rides, ‘Pym Quantum Racers’ and ‘Groot Galaxy Spin’.
In addition to these new attractions, Disney Adventure will host Broadway-style shows, including the all-new musical ‘Remember’, developed exclusively for this ship. Guests can also enjoy a variety of character encounters, first-run films, and interactive entertainment.
Sarah Fox, the cruise line’s VP and Regional GM for Southeast Asia, described the ship as a place for everyone. "From fun and interactive spaces for kids, to relaxing venues for adults, to entertaining places for families, guests will find endless adventures from bow to stern.”
Disney Adventure was originally built for use by Star Cruises under Genting Hong Kong, which filed for bankruptcy in 2022. Named Global Dream at the time, it was one of two sister ships under construction when Genting HK collapsed. The vessel was bought by Disney while still under construction, in 2019.
Dining
Dining onboard features immersive experiences that highlight Disney stories. The ship will introduce rotational dining, where guests enjoy different themed restaurants during their voyage, with a dedicated service team accompanying them throughout their trip.
Some of the new dining options include:
-
Navigator’s Club: An exclusive ‘captain’s table’ dining experience.
-
Hollywood Spotlight Club: Inspired by the golden age of Hollywood, offering an elegant setting for meals.
-
Animator’s Palate & Animator’s Table: Featuring interactive experiences where dining rooms transform from black-and-white sketches to colourful animations.
-
Enchanted Summer Restaurant: Inspired by films like Tangled and Frozen, offering a cozy, themed setting.

Additionally, guests can choose from a range of premium dining experiences, including an upscale Italian restaurant, Palo Trattoria, and Mike & Sulley’s Flavours of Asia, a unique dining venue offering four distinct culinary experiences.
Luxurious accommodation
Disney Adventure will feature a variety of staterooms and suites designed to cater to families, couples, and solo travellers.
Most staterooms will include Disney Cruise Line’s signature split-bathroom concept, and elevated bed frames with ample storage space.
The ship also offers concierge services with exclusive amenities, including private retreats and luxury shopping.
The concierge lounge, inspired by Disney’s Aladdin, will provide a relaxing space with complimentary refreshments.
The ship's most luxurious options, the Concierge Royal Suites, are themed after Disney’s Frozen and offer spacious layouts, private whirlpools, and exclusive amenities.
Dedicated spaces for kids and teens
Families traveling with children can take advantage of Disney’s Oceaneer Club, offering themed play areas inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel.
Teens will have their own dedicated spaces, Vibe and Edge, hidden within the ship’s San Fransokyo Street, providing exclusive and cool retreats.
For the youngest guests, aged six months to three years, the ship offers ‘it’s a small world nursery’, providing babysitting services.
Adult-only spaces
Adults onboard can enjoy a variety of dedicated spaces, including a full-service spa, fitness centre, and numerous lounges and bars
