Delta Air Lines launched daily flights between Los Angeles International and London Heathrow on Sunday March 26. Flights are operated with an Airbus A330neo.
Flight DL186 departs LAX at 20h35 and arrives in LHR at 14h50 the next day. Flight DL187 departs LHR at 16h20 and arrives in LAX at 19h50.
From London Heathrow, Delta now offers direct flights to eight US airports and 200 connections from those airports, according to Nicholas Ferri, Delta VP for Europe, Middle East, Africa & India.
Delta and Virgin Atlantic will together offer up to 278 weekly services between the UK and the United States during peak travel months. Virgin and Delta are currently transatlantic joint venture partners, along with Air France and KLM.
