SWAZILAND'S Mliliwane Wildlife Sanctuary, a Big Game Parks property located halfway between Mbabane and Manzini, is completing the final interior design touches to an overall refurbishment of its shop/reception area and is set to open late September/early October.
Big Game Parks' spokesperson, Ann Reilly, told Travel Now the new reception area will include an activities centre from which regional activities such as horse-riding, can be booked.
"We hope to eventually establish a fully-fledged information office for Swaziland at the centre."
A group of high school Inuit children from Nunavit in Northern Canada recently visited Mliliwane to learn about the Swazi culture and volunteer in community development and cultural projects.
"After a lot of hard work and dedication, the group put together a detailed summary of the history of conservation in Swaziland, which will be displayed at the Environmental Interpretation Centre at the end of September."
