Traveller’s travel
management tool for
SMMEs, has been rolled out
in the South African market
following a global launch late
last year.
The tool offers travellers
and travel managers a single
platform to access pre-trip
approval, booking options,
profile management, traveller
tracking, travel alerts and
reports. The platform can be
accessed via PC, tablet or
mobile device.
While Corporate Traveller has
unveiled some tech solutions
over the last couple years,
with YOUR.CT the company
now offers a single platform
that combines all its products
and solutions, says Oz Desai,
gm Corporate Traveller South
Africa.
He says the company
partnered with Concur for an
online booking tool solution
and, while Concur was not
widely used in the SMME
space, he believes it is a good
fit for this segment, simplifying
the booking process. Oz adds
that traveller tracking can be
tedious in the SMME space
and YOUR.CT also simplifies
this for travel bookers.
YOUR.CT allows travellers
and bookers to search and
book flights, hotels, car and
other ancillary services.
Searches also take into
account the traveller’s
preferences. Bookers can
create and manage traveller
profiles, including passport
details, frequent flyer numbers
and dietary preferences. Users
can also view where their
travellers are in the world at
any given time and effectively
manage their safety, while
travellers are kept up to date
with notifications specifically
tailored to their itineraries
The platform gives
travellers access to their
company’s travel policy
documents in order to drive
policy understanding and
compliance. Because travel
policies are also stored
within Concur, travellers are
automatically directed to make
the most appropriate booking
selection.
From a reporting perspective,
YOUR.CT gathers and stores
reservation and financial data,
giving clients a high-level
spend breakdown via their
dashboard.

while Corporate Traveller is
the group’s boutique travel
management brand (on the
basis that travel managers
have a person-to-person
relationship), the YOUR.CT
product complements this
offering.
According to Oz, since its
inception in 1998 when it
operated out of a small office
with two or three employees,
the business has grown to
have 130 employees and
manages clients with annual
travel spend ranging from R1m
to R20m.
