EFFECTIVE July 1,
Cathay Pacific is ceasing
commission payments to
agents in South Africa,
Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho,
eSwatini (Swaziland),
Mozambique, Mauritius,
Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia.
The commission
structure will move from
the standard 1,01% to
0% and will be applicable
across all fare contracts
and fare offerings, says
the airline. Commission
obligations that arose
prior to July 1 will be
honoured.
The airline attributes
the decision to prevailing
market circumstances
and says it is in
alignment with developing
trends.
