ASATA will host an
Innovation Summit on
March 14. The event,
at The Forum in Bryanston,
will be a full day of panel
discussions and speaker
addresses. Topics include
the New Generation of
Iata Settlement Systems
(NewGen ISS), NDC, the
future of payments in the
travel industry and reengineering the retail travel
business.
The summit is open to
Asata members and travel
industry partners and will
include an exhibition area
for travel innovators and an
innovation board for shared
ideas. International speakers
on the line-up include
Atmosphere Research Group
president, Henry Harteveldt;
director of Iata’s NDC
programme, Yanik Hoyles;
and media and partnership
md of Thomas Cook, Stuart
Adamson.
Asata is also planning to
host a conference, which is
expected to take place in
September.
