officer. Prior to

this, Mark was ceo of digital

learning solutions provider

AVADO Learning. He plans

to improve the company’s

technology platform.

 Ansu Du

Plessis has

been appointed

Hilton’s regional

director of

revenue

management in

Africa and Indian

Ocean. Ansu has more than

two decades of experience in

the hospitality industry and

joined Hilton in November

2017 as Cluster commercial

director based in Cape

Town and then later moved

to Sandton to oversee the

Southern Africa Cluster.

 Cindy

Valentine has

been appointed

to fill Ansu’s

former role as

commercial

director in

Southern Africa.

Before this, Cindy served

as director of sales for the

Shared Services Sales team,

managing the key accounts

for Hilton across the

portfolio.
