Uganda Airlines and Brussels Airlines have resumed flights to Goma Airport, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
On January 30, Uganda Airlines announced that it had resumed its flights to Kinshasa.
On January 31, Brussels Airlines resumed its Wednesday flights to Kinshasa.
The airlines temporarily halted their flights due to unrest in Goma, a city on the country’s eastern border with Rwanda.
On January 28, RwandAir also cancelled its flights to Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Goma, following a political ban by the DRC government, and has not resumed flights.
