John Friel has been appointed Regional Manager, Sales – Southern Africa for Qatar Airways.
Friel’s brings more than 25 years of experience in the airline industry, having held positions at British Airways, Emirates, Etihad and most recently as Country Manager for Travelstart in South Africa.
In this new role, Friel will be responsible for managing Qatar Airways’ country teams in South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola and the DRC, and will be based in the Johannesburg office.
