Ethiopian Airlines has increased passenger flights to Guangzhou from seven flights a week to 10.
The route is exceptionally popular with African business travellers and the extra flights will generate a significant amount of revenue from excess baggage, reports simplyflying.com.
Using a Boeing 777-200LR, Ethiopian will operate the extra flights, ET616 and its return flight, ET617, three times a week.
Ethiopian’s current daily flights, ET606 and the return flight, ET607, are operated by a Boeing 777-300ER.
In 2020, Ethiopian had 10 weekly flights to Guangzhou before ending them due to the pandemic.
