AVIAREPS has been
appointed GSA in
South Africa for LAM –
Mozambique Airlines.
The airline says South
Africa is a major strategic
hub of the continent
and believes the new
partnership will be a
vital step in its strategic
objective of expanding its
network of sales.
Charmaine Thome, gm
of Aviareps in Southern
Africa, said its office would
handle the reservations,
sales and marketing
functions for LAM in South
Africa and would be the
contact point for agents.
LAM’s office in
Eastgate, Johannesburg,
remains open. Andree
Venter, manager of
Corporate First Travel,
said LAM’s Johannesburg
office had always
delivered outstanding
service, been easy to
contact and was very
hands on.
