AMERICAN Express Global
Business Travel (GBT)
expects to complete
the acquisition of Hogg
Robinson Group plc (HRG)
on July 19 following the
receipt of EU merger
control clearance.
In a media statement,
American Express GBT
said: “The combined
group is expected to offer
clients and travellers a
wider range of products
and services, bringing
together the best of both
businesses, including
technology, people
and a comprehensive
geographic footprint.”
Amex GBT announced
its intention to acquire
HRG in February this year
subject to approvals.
