Garth Wolff was educated at St Albans College and Natal University. His career began with working off a bursary with SAB and led up to eTravel in 1999. He spoke to Travel News from his farm near Hoedspruit. Wolff describes himself as a big-picture person. He has a BCom degree with honours in Business Finance/Accounting/Tax. During his years of national service, Wolff also studied econometrics (a type of applied economics) which he said changed his perspective irreversibly and helped to inform many of his business decisions over time. Wolff has his Private Pilots License (PPL) with more than 600 flying hours and owns a Cessna 182. He describes eTravel as his “third child” – he is Dad to daughter, Lauren and son, Trent, who will one day join the family business.
