FlyAfrica Zimbabwe failed to launch its Johannesburg route on June 4. The airline now plans to launch the route on July 4.
Flyafrica Zimbabwe aims to start with a daily service between Harare and Johannesburg, which will be upped to a double-daily service and then a thrice-daily service thereafter.
Flyafrica Zimbabwe initially launched flights to Johannesburg in July 2014, but these flights ceased the following year. When the carrier sought to relaunch its Johannesburg route again last year, the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe had revoked its South African pilots’ validation to fly.
