Virgin Atlantic has announced the return of its scheduled flights between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv, as well as a new codeshare with El Al.
The British carrier will recommence flights to Tel Aviv on September 5 after suspending the service on October 11 last year. Flights will operate daily using an Airbus A330 aircraft.
The new codeshare between the two airlines will allow customers to benefit from their respective frequent flier programmes, with more choice and flexibility in choosing flights between London and Tel Aviv.
“Our return to Tel Aviv on 5 September will be welcome news for customers who have enjoyed our service since 2019, and this time round it’ll be strengthened by our new codeshare partnership,” said Juha Jarvinen, Chief Commercial Officer at Virgin Atlantic.
Flights can be booked from June 10.
