Maldives has published new entry regulations, which took effect on March 4.
Passengers no longer have to present a negative PCR test result on arrival, provided they have completed the prescribed dose(s) of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Maldives Food & Drug Authority or by the World Health Organization Emergency Use Listing and provided at least 14 days have passed since the last vaccination in the primary series.
Booster dose(s) are not required to be eligible for this exemption.
Children above one year who are not eligible for vaccination and individuals who have not completed the prescribed doses of COVID-19 vaccine, must present a negative PCR test result, the sample having been taken in the 96 hours before departure from the first port of embarkation.
