Solani “Solly” Mabunda has died, at the age of 48, on July 29, in a car accident.
Solly was a part of the ORTIA Dollar Thrifty team for seven years, having started there in March 2013. Cheylene Wessels, branch manager told Travel News: “Solly always had a smile on his face and always went out of his way for his customers. He wasn’t only a colleague but was considered as family by some.”
“Solly ‘Raw-Raw’ or ‘Msala’, as we called him, was a joy to work with and he always had this big handsome smile. He was a good soul and always helpful. He loved to dance and loved good music. He loved his family very much,” added Pearl Rose Seleke, branch colleague.
