While the resumption of Angolan carrier TAAG's international flights to destinations such as Lisbon and Lagos is going ahead as planned this month, the airline has announced its relaunch of flights to São Paulo has been postponed to December 2.
"We are very pleased that TAAG will soon be connecting Africa and South America when we resume flights to São Paulo," said Gregory Epps, TAAG's Regional General Manager Southern Africa. "For travellers from Southern Africa who wish to fly to Brazil and the rest of South America, TAAG offers one of the most direct services.”
TAAG will have a twice-weekly service (on Tuesdays and Thursdays) between São Paulo and Luanda, with connections to and from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Windhoek and Maputo connecting at the airline’s hub in Luanda.
