CLUB Travel has
relaunched its leisure
brand with a number of
new features, including
the first fee-free, zeropercent-interest instalment
payment offering in South
Africa, says the agency.
According to Club Travel,
the new payment option,
‘Pay your Way’, is fully
customisable and has
been introduced to help
more South Africans see
the world. Customers are
also able to secure their
travel booking at the price
displayed at the time
of booking to offset the
risk of fluctuating prices.
They can choose their
own payment term and
instalment contributions
and have the option of
selecting a number of
ways to pay, including bank
and credit card debits.
The Club Travel leisure
brand will operate under
the custodianship of
Cape Town-based online
travel agency, Flightsite,
which is 50% owned by
the Club Travel Group.
Jimmy Victor, marketing
manager of Flightsite,
says Flightsite consultants
will process all websitegenerated enquiries with
Club Travel stationery and
email addresses.
As full prepayment needs
to be made 30 working
days before departure no
underwriter is involved
and clients do not have to
undergo any lengthy credit
check processes when
selecting a payment plan,
says Jimmy. Two easyto-navigate sliding bars
show up on the website
and clients can move the
toggle to select a payment
term ranging from two to
11 months. Alternatively,
they can adjust the toggle
on the monthly payment
instalment bar to select a
price that they can afford
to pay monthly.
The updated website
(www.clubtravel.co.za) also
includes a new tool called
‘Inspire Me’, which helps
people who are unsure of
where they would like to
go, to surf destinations
and experiences based on
inputs such as budget and
desired dates of travel.
A number of specials
are currently running on
the website to mark the
relaunch of the brand and
website.
Club Travel md,
Wally Gaynor, says
‘Pay your Way’ and the
online experience had
transformed with a
number of features to
support customers with
realistic and affordable
ways to see the world.
