With the ceasefire officially in place between Israel and Gaza, airlines are gradually resuming services to Israel.
The first airlines to resume flights to Tel Aviv were the Lufthansa Group’s Austrian Airlines and SWISS. On January 8, Austrian introduced eight weekly flights, and SWISS five weekly flights.
Hungarian low-cost carrier, Wizz Air, began slowly reinstating its flights on January 15, with connections from Tel Aviv to London, Budapest, Vienna, Milan, Warsaw and Athens, reported euronews.com.
Air France told reuters.com, that it would resume flights between Paris and Tel Aviv on January 24, and its Beirut flights on January 31. KLM will maintain its suspension of Israel services until March 29.
ITA Airways is restarting flights between Rome and Tel Aviv, with one daily frequency, on February 1. From February 16, it will add a second daily frequency.
According to the timesofisrael.com, British Airways will resume its flights to Tel Aviv on April 5. Initially the airline will offer one daily flight and from April 20, it will increase to two flights a day.
