The Nigerian Consulate has advised that biometric visa requirements commenced yesterday (October 30).
This follows the Consulate’s initial announcement that it will introduce biometrics on October 25.
As a result of the confusion, the Consulate is allowing registered visa companies to submit applications on behalf of clients who are unable to visit the Consulate up until November 3.
Thereafter, all applicants will be required to visit the Consulate with an OIS appointment slip for their biometrics to be captured.
