FEDHASA – the hospitality
association of Southern
Africa – and healthcare risk
management firm, Agility, have
partnered to provide hospitality
industry employees with health
cover.
The new product, Agility
Hospitality, offers low-income
earners in the hospitality
industry access to medical
insurance.
“The partnership was a
natural progression, given
that Fedhasa understands the
unique challenges its members
face, particularly when it
comes to the management of
their human capital, and that
Agility is positioned to assist
the industry in overcoming
these challenges, says Tshidi
Mkhosana, gm of Fedhasa
Inland.
The solution includes
health cover in the form of
10 medical scheme options
and is described by Agility as
a primary healthcare offering
for low-income earners that
offers benefits through a
network of private healthcare
providers. It also offers gap
and co-payment cover; a
medical savings card not
linked to a medical scheme
that works like a general debit
card; group risk benefits in
the form of life and disability
cover; and a wellbeing
programme that includes faceto-face preventative and riskaddressing initiatives.
Agility Hospitality enables
clients to build their own
cover based on their specific
requirements, challenges and
budget, says Bianca Viljoen,
distribution director at Agility
Group.
“We consult with each
client individually, identify
their specific human capital
needs and develop a solution
accordingly. As such, monthly
premiums are based on the
client’s unique requirements
and price points,” she adds.
