Lufthansa Group and KM Malta Airlines have signed a bilateral codeshare agreement, effective from March 31.
The codeshare will open new destinations for travellers of the two airlines, enabling them to transfer between the airlines on one ticket and efficiently receive checked-in luggage upon arrival at their final destination.
From the end of March, Lufthansa Group’s subsidiaries, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and SWISS, will place their codes on KM Malta Airlines flights between Malta and Munich, Vienna, Brussels and Zürich.
KM Malta Airlines’ summer 2024 schedule will operate between March 31 and October 26, with the airline serving 17 airports across 15 key European cities, namely, Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Catania, Düsseldorf, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Lyon, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Prague, Rome, Vienna and Zürich.
