LU DOWELL Representations

has been appointed to

represent Euromic Club

South Africa, marketing 18

destinations to the MICE and

leisure market in South Africa.

“While our long-standing

passion for South America

remains well established, our

DMC representation portfolio

is growing; concentrating

on MICE, PCO and group

agents in a number of new

destinations,” says key

accounts manager of Lu

Dowell Representations, Kathy

Lavery.

The new destinations include

Portugal, Italy, Greece, Russia,

China, Singapore, India, Sri

Lanka, Bhutan, Tibet, Nepal,

Maldives, Egypt, UAE, Morocco,

Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar.

Kathy says the initial focus

will be to re-establish Lu

Dowell as the pioneers of

DMC representation in South

Africa, with a primary sales

focus on the wholesaler and

MICE segments. A roadshow

is planned for the first week

in December to showcase the

brands.

Euromic Club South Africa is

a brand of the Euromic nonprofit consortium of DMCs,

which represents 53 different

destinations across five

continents.

Lu Dowell currently represents

DMCs in Argentina, Brazil, Chile,

Peru and Bolivia.
