Following a nine-month break, Kenya Airways is set to resume its non-stop flights between Nairobi and Bangkok from November 21.
The airline will start with three weekly flights between Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport (NBO) and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), with its B787 Dreamliner according to simpleflying.com.
The flights will be operated on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. KQ886 departs NBO at 23h45 and arrives at BKK at 13h30 the next day. Return flight, KQ887 will depart at 01h00 each of the three days, and arrive NBO at 06h05.
The new service will replace flights currently operated between Nairobi and Guangzhou Baijun Airport (CAN). After landing at BKK, KQ886 departs BKK at 14h40 and arrives at CAN at 18h35. The return flight will depart CAN at 21h40 and arrive BKK 23h35.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which will operate these flights, has 204 economy class and 30 business class (Premier World) seats.
