Etihad Airways and Air Serbia’s codeshare opens up a wide network for the two carriers, bringing a total of 12 destinations to Etihad’s route map, nine of which are new. At the same time, says Boško Rupić, Air Serbia’s GM of Commercial and Strategy, the Serbian national carrier will be able to expand the reach of its services and offer passengers a wider array of destinations and connectivity options.
“This translates into more choices, flexibility, and convenience for those who choose Air Serbia for their journeys. Passengers will now enjoy the ease of booking connecting flights and checking in once for their entire journey,” said Rupić.
The Etihad-Air Serbia codeshare has been in effect since February 3. It means travellers can now enjoy the convenience of a single baggage check-in across multiple stops to the final destination.
In addition, members of Etihad Guest, the carrier’s loyalty programme, can earn or redeem Etihad Guest miles across both Etihad’s and Air Serbia’s networks.
