Airlink is due to resume daily scheduled air services between Johannesburg and Maseru today, Monday, March 29.
This follows the reopening of Lesotho’s borders and the lifting of COVID-related travel restrictions that curtailed travel between the country and South Africa.
Flight 4Z 052 departs Johannesburg daily at 09h35, arriving in Maseru at 10h35.
Flight 4Z 053 departs Maseru at 11h00, arriving in Johannesburg at 12h05.
“After a disruption of several weeks, Airlink is looking forward to welcoming customers on to its flights, which provide vital connections supporting trade, business, tourism and family ties between South Africa and the Mountain Kingdom,” said Airlink md and ceo, Rodger Foster.
Economy-class fares include a 20kg checked-in luggage allowance plus 15kg of sporting equipment.
The carrier says it intends to add more flights to the schedule in accordance with demand.
