Disneyland Resorts has announced Pixar Place Hotel, its latest themed hotel, which will replace the Paradise Pier Hotel in San Diego, California.
Pixar Place, which will open on January 30, will offer guests an immersive experience with their favourite Pixar films including Toy Story, Brave and The Incredibles. Art throughout the hotel was designed by Pixar Animation Studios, and guestrooms have décor inspired by iconic Pixar films, reports travelpulse.com.
The hotel will have three dining areas. The Great Maple restaurant, opening next month, will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner with a menu that includes Maple Bacon Doughnuts and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. The Sketch Pad Café will offer coffee, baked goods and pastries, while Small Bytes Pool Bar, on top of the roof by the pool, will offer salads, wraps and more.
The hotel lobby gift shop, STOR-E – a play on Pixar’s WALL-E – will offer Pixar-themed toys, apparel and other trinkets.
The hotel’s new Finding Nemo-themed splash pad and pool area are currently open for guests of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. The nearby play court and pool bar will open later this year.
