Air Botswana has adjusted its schedule on selected routes until May 14 due to temporary crew constraints.
Flight BP204 between Johannesburg and Gaborone now operates as flight BP202 and departs at 08h50 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, flight BP201 between Gaborone and Johannesburg departs at 10h00.
The following services are not operating:
- Gaborone-Cape Town (BP233)
- Cape Town-Gaborone (BP232)
- Gaborone-Harare-Lusaka-Gaborone (BP323)
Some domestic services have also been adjusted.
The airline said crew were unavailable due to mandatory training. “These checks are a regulatory requirement and are necessary to ensure that all operating crew meet the required standards for active duty,” said the airline. Services are expected to return to normal by May 15.
The airline also cancelled all scheduled flights on May 7.
