The Western Cape Travel Industry Golf Club yesterday once again beat its counterparts from Gauteng.
The rivalry between the two clubs goes back some 20 years.
This year it was hosted by Gauteng and played over two days at Sun City.
Each team consisted of 12 players.
It was close, down to the last fourball on the last day.
It is the fifth time in a row that Western Cape has won the so-called North vs South tournament.
Both clubs find sponsors to arrange games during the year.
Gauteng, for instance arrange six annual games including top courses like Steyn City and Country Club Johannesburg.
Membership is open to people in travel and tourism.
