The strike at all major airports in Kenya has been called off.
The strike severely disrupted international and domestic flights on Tuesday night, September 9, and Wednesday, September 10,
The industrial action left passengers stranded and disrupted flights at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), Moi International Airport, Eldoret International Airport, and Kisumu International Airport.
It was triggered by objections to the government's proposal to lease NBO to an Indian company. Workers felt that jobs would be lost and that control of a Kenyan asset would be lost by Kenya.
